Products are sold for your own laboratory research use. You may not resell, redistribute, relabel, or repackage any product for sale to others, and you may not supply any product to a person who intends to administer it to a human or an animal.
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. We may decline or cancel any order, in whole or in part — including where a product is unavailable, where a price or description was listed in error, where we cannot verify the information you gave us, or where we believe the order may be intended for a use prohibited by these terms. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.
Prices, discounts, and availability can change at any time before an order is accepted. Promotional pricing, bundle savings, bulk pricing, and Pacific Points are offered at our discretion and may be withdrawn or altered, except where they have already been applied to an accepted order.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the name, shipping address, email, and phone number you provide. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or delivered to the wrong place because the details given to us were wrong or incomplete.
Except for the certificate of analysis published for a product, which reflects the testing described in it and nothing more, all products and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pacific Coast Labs and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your purchase or use of any product or this website — whether the claim is based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to a product or an order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that product or order.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limits above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pacific Coast Labs and its owners, employees, and suppliers from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of these terms, your misuse or mishandling of any product, any administration of a product to a human or an animal, your resale or redistribution of a product, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them, to any product, or to this website, are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the arbitration section below, you and Pacific Coast Labs agree that any dispute that proceeds in court will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both of us consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between us are resolved, and it limits your ability to bring a case in court or as part of a class action.
Talk to us first. If something goes wrong, email support@pacificcoastlabs.org with a description of the issue and what you would like done about it. Most problems are resolved this way. Neither of us may start a formal proceeding until 30 days after that notice is sent.
Arbitration. If a dispute is not resolved within those 30 days, you and Pacific Coast Labs agree that it will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California, or by telephone or video, or — at your election — in the county where you live. The arbitrator’s decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.
Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or to stop unauthorized use of this website.
No class actions. Disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity. Neither of us may bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding, and the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims. If this paragraph is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim — and only that claim — will proceed in court rather than in arbitration.
Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration section by emailing support@pacificcoastlabs.org within 30 days of your first order, with your name, your order number, and a statement that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these terms, and it will not affect your orders or your account in any way.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect for an order is the version published on this page when that order is placed, and the date at the top of this page shows when the wording last changed. Continuing to use this site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refunds & Returns policy, are the entire agreement between you and Pacific Coast Labs regarding your purchases.
